Borrowers would supply collateral. Lenders would supply credit. The operating treasury funds the work of building TENVEIL. These are different assets, with different obligations.
The design requires separate accounting, disclosed control and explicit rights for each role. The final custody structure and providers have not been selected.
01 / Borrower
WETH / cirBTC candidates
A position securing an obligation.
A reviewed WETH or cirBTC token could secure a USDC loan. Neither is approved for deposits. Bridge, custody and issuer risks must be examined alongside contract control and repayment rules. A borrower could lose collateral through liquidation.
02 / Lender
Loan capital
Capital with credit exposure.
The design targets USDC-denominated credit on Arc. Lender funds would finance loans, not become the operator’s spending balance. The lending integration, access conditions and claim structure are not approved. Collateral does not eliminate the risk of principal loss.
03 / Operator
Operating budget
A budget to build. Not a backstop.
Operating funds support development and administration. No reserve, insurance fund or commitment to cover lender losses is asserted. Any future operator fees must be disclosed separately from loan principal and collateral.
BEFORE A LOAN COULD OPEN
Every movement needs a reason.
Five requirements to resolve. Not completed checks.
01
Establish the instrument and access rules
Verify the exact Arc token, backing, bridge or custody arrangements, issuer controls and access restrictions. A BTC or ETH label is not proof of backing, redemption access or permission to borrow.
02
Price the risk before sizing the loan
Select reliable valuation sources and test actual liquidation depth. Define price freshness, depeg and price-gap handling, collateral limits and conditions that prevent new exposure. No lending ratios are promised here.
03
Publish the complete obligation
Borrowers and lenders need the asset, rate calculation, fees, duration, repayment schedule and default process before commitment. Any withdrawal restrictions and potential losses must be equally visible.
04
Make custody and authority inspectable
Disclose who can move collateral, disburse funds, change parameters or pause the service. Separation must be implemented and reviewed, not assumed from page labels or a wallet connection.
05
Define repayment, release and loss allocation
A repaid loan would follow its agreed collateral-release process. Default or a collateral shortfall could require liquidation. The terms must explain costs, creditor priority, surplus treatment and who bears any remaining loss.
